DeJohnna and Michael contacted us a few moths ago for their wedding in 2018. We set up a time to sit and talk and I could tell that they we the type of couples we seek to serve and work with. They remind me of Michael and I: laugh-out-loud silly and in love!
I was hoping that Michael could join us because we almost always shoot engagement sessions together, but with everyone so busy, he had to stay with the littles. Never the less, I had a great time with these two.
As I am photographing Michael and DeJohnna, I could see just how darn happy they are just BEING together! As a photographer, it is difficult to get people to genuinely laugh, but they did plenty of that naturally! In fact, my favorite photos are of DeJohnna laughing at something Michael did (or wasn’t supposed to do!) and every time I turned around, Michael had DeJohnna laughing and smiling. I will admit though, that Michael had me laughing too and at one point, I was almost in tears!
They are just too much fun! They are exactly how we like our couples to be: silly, loving life, and not afraid to act up! I honestly adore these two even more after hanging out with them last Saturday and look forward to their wedding next year.
