Headshots in Norfolk Va

Elizabeth is an up and coming actress and she contacted us a few months back to do some headshots for her! I absolutely LOVE doing headshots after we took a few for a friend and fellow photographer! We initially wanted to take the headshots in the Neon District in Norfolk but we fell behind on time when we both got lost. The funny thing is, we were on the same street but on opposite ends that had similar landmarks! Once we found each other, we decided to stick around that area for the sake of the diminishing light! Honestly though, when you look at the photos, you cant tell that its 45 minutes to sunset in most of them.

We started with basic shots then I had Elizabeth use her hands to play around with her hair or earrings. She normally plays with her earrings so doing that looked and felt very natural for her! Elizabeth has such a bright and beautiful glow about her and when she smiles, it’s very telling of the kind and sweet person that she is! I honestly hope we get to hang out again because we had so much fun taking photos and chasing the ever diminishing light! Sessions like this one are the ones I want to do all over again just for the joy of it!

Thank you Elizabeth for allowing us to be a part of your journey into acting and we look forward to all that is in store for you in the future!

updated post coming SOON!

As wedding photographers, we are often told by clients that they are awkward and nervous in front of a camera and that they just want to look and feel natural!  We all can relate to that!  I too feel awkward during family photos.  However, I've learned that by having a strong ability to pose and to notice the small details, we can make every look great and feel like their natural selves!
