Norfolk Botanical Gardens Engagement Session
Joyce and Jacob’s Norfolk Botanical Gardens engagement session was all that I hoped it would be and more! It was my first time photographing at the gardens and it was also scheduled during the most challenging time of day in terms of photography…..MID DAY!! But thank goodness for plenty of shady areas!
How They Met
Jacob and Joyce met in Charlottesville while Joyce was attending UVA. One night, Joyce went to a bar with her girls when she just so happened to make eye contact with Jacob. They began talking and went out on their first date a week later!
They have been together now for 2 years and Jacob proposed when Joyce can home from college for the weekend. Jacob made chocolate covered strawberries, he bought roses and lit candles. Not only did he make chocolate covered strawberries, but he used them to spell out “Will you marry me?” HOW ROMANTIC IS THAT!!!
Of course Joyce said “YES” to the man of her dream and now they will be getting married in a few months!
We are so excited for them and we can’t wait to see them again in June!
