Fords Colony Country Club Wedding

Michael and I have been anxiously waiting to feature this beautiful wedding on the blog!  Shari and Mike’s wedding is definitely one of our favorites (as was their engagement session!) and all the details used in their reception was so creatively done!

Mike and Shari’s ceremony took place at the Williamsburg Community Chapel.  We highly recommend this place!  After the ceremony and portraits, we headed over to Ford’s Colony Country Club for the reception!  The rain clouds were rolling in and we only had a sliver of light so we quickly snatched Mike and Shari away to get some gorgeous photos of them on the golf course!  We are so appreciative of the event director, Shay, who drove the golf cart as fast as it could go so we could utilize as much light as possible!

After their portraits we headed inside for the party!  Shari’s family is from Jamaican descent, so there was plenty of reggae music and dancing!  I LOVED IT!!  Reggae is that type of genre where you just can’t help but dance!

We greatly appreciate being able to capture their wedding day!  From the ceremony to the reception, everything was absolutely perfect and we are so eager to share!

Mike and Shari decided to use elements of music in their reception.  Notice the table numbers on the place cards (shown above) are actually names of music artist!

This candy table was by far the best!  I’ll take some of each please!
