Maymont Park Bridal Session
This Maymont Park bridal session is something that I am so personally proud of. You may not believe this when I tell you, but this was my first ever bridal session. So, naturally, I was a bit nervous but I put that aside and just trusted myself. I already knew what inspired Aqura and it’s similar to what inspires me….organic beauty, feminine elegance, and classic style. Knowing that, I walked into the bridal session having a clear vision of how I wanted to capture it…..and I walked away being so mind blown at it’s beauty.
That Dress Though….
Aqura’s bridal gown is a one of a kind piece. Her designer, Haus of Falenci’ago, initially thought of Aqura’s vision as a challenge. Being a designer who often uses jewels and sequins to embellish their gowns, Aqura wanted the complete opposite……something clean and elegant with subtle finishes. Her inspiration stemmed from picturesque mountainsides, organic greenery, and simply beauty. To compensate for the beautiful simplistic nature of the gown, Haus of Falenci’ago added a 17 ft long detachable train and off the shoulder see through applique bodice. I must say, as creatives we often pass over things that “aren’t up our alley” but I’m so glad Haus of Falenci’ago took on the challenge and nailed it in every single way!
